watched this a while back,on a double feature night with Lake Bodom(I do love a theme!),which I unfortunately watched first coz it was an absolute doozey which I immediately wrote a glowing review of,this however I seem to have forgotten to review at all. I rest my case.
Loved this and really beautifully filmed-I would have given it 5/5 but for the ending which didn't make sense
3.5/5. Really compelling characters and dialogue, a fun setting, a decent mystery. The last 20% didn't feel impactful to me but the rest of the movie was great
I like Cabin in the Woods type of movie. I liked the twist, but it still was confusing. Was this a supernatural thing or just killer energy tied to blood relatives. I dont know, but i still liked the movie.
just short of three tits and a whales vagina! the only entertainment i had while watching this film was calling out the cliche scenarios with my bf and laughing at the absolute lack of horror involved in this soul crushingly dull film. however i would like to give props to the cinematography, as that was the only aspect of the movie that gave me chills. 1/10 rating... best actor award goes to .... August! The Dog (how dare you tie up baby in a corner)
